The Speedy Stitcher® Sewing Awl, is a hand tool that can be used to sew any heavy material. It’s a helpful tool to have around the house, farm, workshop or any place where leather, canvas or vinyl has to be sewn or repaired.

Every Speedy Stitcher® is Made in the USA and comes with our signature high-tensile waxed thread and custom-made diamond point needles. With a little practice, it sews a perfect lock stitch every time - just like a sewing machine.

Uses for the Speedy Stitcher® including the assembly and repair of leather goods, canvas tarps, climbing and camping gear, book binding repair, saddlery and tack items, athletic equipment, even shoes and belts.

This is our basic awl kit. Included is the Speedy Stitcher® Sewing Awl, one straight and one curved needle as well as a built-in bobbin wound with 14-yards of waxed thread and product use instructions.

All orders received before 12pm will be shipped the same day where possible (Monday-Friday). Orders after this time will be shipped the next day. Once the item is shipped the approximate delivery time is 1-2 days

You will receive a tracking number when your items are sent. This tracking will show updates once your order has been collected by our couriers. 

Delays may be experienced during certain times of the year and if this is the case we will contact you as soon as possible via email.

International Danboline, the ideal paint for inside of hulls, bilge areas, lockers and bulkheads. It is great for wear and tear, and is highly resistant to oil and fuel spillage, fish guts etc.

Danboline has a gloss finish and cleans easily.

Preparation & Priming

  • PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES: In Good Condition:  Wash down with International Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 180­-280 grade paper. 
  • PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES: In Poor Condition:  Remove all previous coatings and prime the substrate. 
  • BARE WOOD: Prime with International Yacht Primer or Interprotect. 
  • STEEL:  Prime with International Yacht Primer or Interprotect
  • ALUMINIUM: Prime with International Yacht Primer or Interprotect. 
  • GRP: Wash down with International Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 180-­220 grade paper. Particular attention should be given to the reverse side of moulded GRP. No priming necessary.

Thinners/ Cleaner

Application

Sand the primer using 180-280 grade wet or dry paper. Remove dust with a dust wipe. Apply 1-­2 coats.

The International Compass Polyurethane Gloss Varnish is a tough wood varnish which offers a durable finish resistant to scratches and surface abrasion, oil, mild acid/alkali and alcohol spills. Its fast-dry formulation minimises dust contamination.
  • Reduced work time: apply 2 coats per day, sand only after every 2nd or 3rd coat.
  • Contains HALS and UV absorbers protecting your wood from sunlight degradation and increasing the lifespan of the coating.
  • Superior flow and application characteristics ensure a smooth, professional finish.
