Regular price €21.95The 16 mm is Harken’s® smallest block. It is perfect for small synthetic control lines found on high-tech dinghies including Optimists (Optipart number EX1334). The patented bearing system uses stainless steel balls in a captive grooved race and has a 250 lb (113 kg) maximum working load. The 404 uses an O-ring to keep the line in the sheave during intermittent loading.

HullKote Speed Polish: Application Guide
- Shake bottle well
- Saturate a small cloth with Hullkote and apply to a clean surface adding additional Hullkote to the cloth as needed. Hullkote is a distinct green color making the polish easy to see against any color surface
- You may immediately wipe away any excess Hullkote using a clean, dry cloth. No waiting, and no crusty haze to remove. There is no need to wait for the product to dry… just wipe it on, and then polish away the excess. No heavy buffing is required
- Apply 2 coats initially for best results
- Apply to a relatively clean, dirt and grit free surface to avoid scratching
NOTE: If applied on a hot day, we suggest starting with a damp cloth (add clean water to cloth, wring out) and then adding Hullkote to the cloth for easier application in hot weather or for warm surfaces.
When the boat comes out of the water, we recommend cleaning hull with Hullkote as per above directions and then you’re ready for the next regatta!
You are now left with a clean, fast, long-lasting, glossy finish. Hullkote Speed Polish applies and adheres nicely right over the top of other polishes, so no need to strip prior to applying Hullkote Speed Polish for the first time.

Tef-Gel - The Corrosion Eliminator & Anti Seize Lubricant

Regular price €29.95Tef-Gel has 40% Powder (PTFE and no volatile solvents, silicone oil, which would penetrate the electrolytes. When Tef-Gel is applied to the two metal surfaces in contact, the Electrolytes of sea water can no longer penetrate by capillary action, and this long periods of time. A. bolt or live in aluminium, steel, stainless steel. Use the applicator to apply a thin layer of Tef-Gel on the thread of the bolt and thread holes, and squeeze. B. Plated Surfaces Against One Another: the capillary action by applying a thin layer of Tef-Gel these areas can be protected with a brush, a toothbrush or a plastic palette before assembly. Clean the excess as white spirit. Tef-Gel is not an electrical insulation, and it does not increase the electrical resistance of connections. The PTFE (40%) is an ultra-fine powder that extrude out of the contact surface and the cavities of the surrounding surfaces. Tef-Gel eliminates the weld by corrosion of stainless steel, inconel and other Nickel Alloys. Tef-Gel applied on both nut and bolt or bolt and solid leaves a film of PTFE thread holes, which prevent the weld corrosion. As Tef-Gel contains no volatile solvents, it does not evaporate, does not freeze, will not dry out and protects durably the elements, this allows for easy removal.
- Tef-Gel is a made with a water resistant coating that prevents oxidation of metal and paste corrosion due to the flow galvaniques between different metals.
- A small amount of galvanic tef-gel is enough to prevent the exchange of electrons and corrosion that emerges between different metals and carbon materials (aluminium, stainless steel, etc.)
- Tef-Gel applied on both surfaces and bolt or nut bolt and threaded solid leaves a film of PTFE, which prevent drill steel 18/Corrosion.
- As tef-gel contains no volatile solvents, it does not evaporate and does not freeze, will not dry out and protects durably the elements, this allows for easy dismantling.
