There is capability to add ProHike pads into the seat part through a Hook & loop attachment at the inside surface. The fit has been developed for performance through a high curved waist profile with strong elastic tab adjustment pulling around the sides – perfect to get the perfect secure fit on a range of body shapes. Through the use of 2 panels above the Duratex II seat panel, position of the waistband is not compromised and movement is maximised especially when worn in conjunction with ProHike pads, which add weight.
Wear them on their own in warmer climates for extended hours on the water, or as a perfect partner when worn over an existing neoprene garment.

Rooster Pro Hikers 4/3mm (fixed Battens)

Regular price €254.95Full length 4/3mm hiking pant with fixed battens in the back of the upper leg, which allow for a good connection with the boat. The fixed hiking battens feature a 500D PVC outer layer for extra grip and durability with Duratex II™ at the seat part and knees/shin for extra protection and resilience required for top level performance. The knees/shin also feature additional padding for added protection against knocks around the boat. The pre-bend in the knee/leg supports hiking positions, and there is a soft elastic binding at the ankle to fit comfortably into the hiking boot. The hikers have been developed with different materials throughout the panels to create comfort and hiking performance.
NOTE ON FIT: These hikers are designed to feel really tight when you first put them on so that they will support the pads securely. They will give a bit once wet. We have also updated the fit at the waist by lowering it slightly and adding more shaping to the front panel as well as improving the stretch along the top of the waistband, all to improve comfort.

The above chart is a guide to the size of hiking shorts that you will need for your particular
build, where there is a choice between two sizes it is better to opt for the smaller size as
these will give less movement between you and the boat.
For the shorter, heavier sailors (you know who you are) the three quarter length shorts may
not be suitable unless your legs are particularly long in relation to your height!

There is capability to add ProHike pads into the seat part through a Hook & loop attachment at the inside surface. The fit has been developed for performance through a high curved waist profile with strong elastic tab adjustment pulling around the sides – perfect to get the perfect secure fit on a range of body shapes. Through the use of 2 panels above the Duratex II seat panel, position of the waistband is not compromised and movement is maximised especially when worn in conjunction with ProHike pads, which add weight.

The main ‘heat’ boosting properties of this top derive from its 0.5mm titanium lined neoprene used at the chest, back and upper arms. Rooster Carbon Tiller for Laser® & ILCA - 2 Types

Manufactured on a mandrill with pre-preg materials to produce the most consolidated carbon fibres ever! Each tiller is additionally wound with 45 degree twill to improve the tillers hoop strength and make it bash and crush resistant.
Fitted with a stainless steel plate to prevent traveller wear, and a cleat to allow easy and efficient use of a rudder pull down rope.
Tiller Types
There are TWO tiller type/styles available, either the standard profile or the low profile style.
The Standard type tiller is for the Laser hull built in the UK and Europe by Performance Sailcraft Europe from 1969 to March 2019. The current 'Laser' is built by Laser Performance.
Low profile type tiller is for the Australian built Lasers, the ILCA Ovington boat (UK March 2019 onwards) and the Devoti ILCA (EU) builders.
