Barton Size 6 Fiddle Block with Swivel & Becket
The Barton size 6 plain bearing fiddle block with becket and swivel shackle head is great for dayboats and cruising yachts up to 32ft / 9.7m.
The block will suit the following applications;
- 4:1 Mainsheet System
- In a Backstay System
- In a 4:1, 8:1 & 16:1 Cascaded Kicker System
- Downhaul Systems
The Size 6 Barton blocks are designed as a high load cruiser block range and is of rugged construction. It features high grade injection moulded side plates, with all load carrying components from 316 grade stainless steel. Side plates are through-bolted and riveted for added strength and security. This good looking and versatile range is designed for use on larger cruising and racing yachts. All are designed for ease of use with ball bearing mainsheet traveller system.
Designed around a 64mm (2 1/2") sheave and to work with 14mm (9/16") ropes.

Where break and safe working loads are stated, it is assumed that all sheaves are evenly loaded as in purchase tackle. Uneven loading, or loading of one sheave in a double or triple block, will severely effect strength quoted. If unsure, please seek further advice.
