Dyneema Cover

Dyneema® covers have been developed to provide extremely high resistance to abrasion on chafe points and are ideal protection for soft eye splices on our Racing Dyneema® 78 range of products.

A soft eye splice with a Dyneema® cover protection is the most efficient splice for both time and overall performance. Kingfisher recommends this type of protected splice on all our Racing Dyneema® 78 lines.

Dyneema® covers are available in sizes XS, Small, Medium, Large and X Large to cover a range of diameters from 5mm -16mm.

Some customers have a preference to size up their cover to make it easier to splice.

We are delighted to announce a major change in the production of all our ropes using Dyneema® fibre. We have decided to change all Dyneema lines to the new bio-based Dyneema® fibres. While the fiber’s feedstock will be transitioned from conventional (fossil fuel) to a renewable source via mass balancing, the performance & specifications will remain unchanged. For every 1 tonne of bio-based Dyneema® purchased, 5 tonnes CO2 emissions are avoided when compared to standard Dyneema® fibres.
