TruDesign Tails are moulded from a glass-reinforced nylon composite. High strength, high-modulus glass fibres within the nylon composite provides dramatic strength, stiffness, toughness, and dimensional stability.
TruDesign Tails eliminate the corrosion and electrical bonding problems associated with metallic fittings. Tail fittings are designed for twin hose clamps and to never crush.

Regular price €49.95New Zealand designed and manufactured, moulded from a glass-reinforced nylon composite ball valve. The ball and sealing rings use a PTFE polymer to ensure a smooth action and continuous ease of operation over many years, no more hitting the handle with a hammer. High strength, high-modulus glass fibres give very high strength, rigidity, toughness and consistent sizing. The use of a composite such as this gives a huge reduction in weight over bronze, DZR and stainless fittings without sacrificing performance.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE CONNECTING HOSETAILS ARE THE SAME SUPPLIER.
The long standing problem of dezincification of hull fittings is a thing of the past. No more much feared pink disintegration of your valves and hosetails. TruDesign Skin Fittings completely remove the corrosion and electrical bonding problems associated with metallic fittings.
When used in below the waterline the Ball Valve should be connected directly to the skin fitting to meet safety requirements and meet marine standard compliance.

Regular price €18.95TruDesign Load Bearing Collars are designed for use with TruDesign Skin Fittings and Ball Valves.
With the Collar in place, the Skin Fitting-Ball Valve-Hose Tail assembly will withstand a 500 lb (227 kg) static force applied to the Hose Tail end of the assembly, for a minimum of 30 seconds – complying with North American ABYC H-27 standards.
Two Sizes available
- Small - for 1/2", 3/4" and 1" Ball Valve / Skin Fitting
- Medium - for 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" Ball Valve / Skin Fitting

No longer is a second person needed to hold the Skin Fitting in place on the outside of the hull and stop it from turning whilst the first person on the inside of the hull tightens the Skin Fitting Nut.
These tools also act as a holder to make applying sealant or epoxy to the Skin Fitting easier as well as keep work areas and hands clean.

Typhoon's stand up paddleboard (SUP) 10'2"
Sold as a complete kit for your convenience, an all rounder length paddleboard, long enough to paddle fast and track well, but will turn easily. At 32" wide, it hits the sweet spot to feel stable but still fast and responsive. The long deck pad extends the use of your board to yoga, stretches and warm ups, while also allowing you enjoy longer board sessions on the water comfortably.
Inflatable SUP boards are softer and more comfortable on the feet when paddling and easier on the body when relaxing or doing yoga. An inflatable paddle board can be rolled up and taken on airplanes, which makes them suitable for travel situations where hardboards would not be practical.

We reserve the right to change these conditions for exceptionally large or heavy items or items of a hazardous nature. We will keep you posted of any changes to the best of our ability.
Inclusion of any product on our website is not a guarantee of it being in stock at the time of ordering. We stock one of the most comprehensive ranges of sailing equipment in the country. However situations beyond our control may occasionally result in an item(s) being temporarily unavailable.
- Items discontinued by manufacturers or that are no longer available: we aim to remove from our website as quickly as possible, but remember, we are only human after all.
- If we are unable to supply any item(s) within 7 days, you will be contacted by telephone or email to offer alternatives or cancel your order. Available to order items, marked to follow will be sent automatically when they become available. We do NOT make additional charges for this service.
- In any case, we aim to deliver goods within a maximum time frame of no more than 10 days from receipt of order. If we are unable to do this, you will be contacted to make arrangements for any necessary refund to be issued.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with any online order placed with us. Therefore if you wish to return an item for whatever reason you may contact us by email at sales@vikingmarine.ie to organise a return.
All returns must be organised within 30 days of receiving your order. Refunds are available within the first 14 days after receiving your order. After this period we can offer an exchange or store credit.
Goods can be returned for a full refund plus any shipping paid at the time of purchase if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched.
Items must be unused and still have their original packaging and labelling attached.
Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
The PayPal account or card used originally for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase amount
If you are looking to exchange the goods for an alternative product or size, you will be liable for the extra shipping costs from our end.
Any footwear returned to us must be in its original condition, including boxes and footbeds.
Any items that we deem unhygienic will not be processed so please clean faulty goods if returning them.
Please note that if items are returned you should ask for proof of postage from your post office as we reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item is lost whilst being returned. Any item bought online can also be returned in store within the terms and conditions of sale, just remember to bring along your receipt.
Special Orders
If you have changed your mind on a non regular stock item that was ordered specially this can be returned for store credit only.
