Windesign Carbon T800 PRO Tiller for Laser® or ILCA®

Regular price €279.95Windesign has developed a new high-end extremely stiff racing tiller made of T800 carbon which fits perfect on your Laser® or ILCA®. We are using different wall thicknesses on the inside of the tiller to achieve an ultimate stiffness/weight ratio, we have used the best, stiffest and lightest carbon fibres available, made a recess on top for the stainless steel wear plate and designed two different tiller end castings to achieve the lowest traveler settings for both. This combination of features creates an amazing light feeling when steering the boat. The design went through all different kinds of tests and is believed to be the stiffest, strongest and most lightweight on the market right now! Glossy finish, fitted with aluminium Clamcleat, only 13,5 mm thick and 26,7 mm wide, a total weight of only 335 gram and supplied with releasable joint to attach your existing tiller extension.

Outhaul system for Laser® 4.7 with a spliced 3 mm Dyneema® primary line with a 29 mm Harken Ti-Lite block. Made with a large loop which fits around the end of the boom for quick release. Comes with a 4 mm DB-Racing secondary control line, consists of a Dyneema® core and Technora / polyester cover for ultimate durability and grip. Cut at ideal length for direct use and the ability to add a loop handle or braided handle.
Complete your outhaul system with the EX2225 – Spliced mast loop. This mast loop is sold separately and must be attached above the gooseneck.

Rooster Carbon Tiller for Laser® & ILCA - 2 Types

Regular price €279.95 Sale price €259.95Arguably the strongest tiller on the market, utilising space age technology.
Manufactured on a mandrill with pre-preg materials to produce the most consolidated carbon fibres ever! Each tiller is additionally wound with 45 degree twill to improve the tillers hoop strength and make it bash and crush resistant.
Fitted with a stainless steel plate to prevent traveller wear, and a cleat to allow easy and efficient use of a rudder pull down rope.
Tiller Types
There are TWO tiller type/styles available, either the standard profile or the low profile style.
The Standard type tiller is for the Laser hull built in the UK and Europe by Performance Sailcraft Europe from 1969 to March 2019. The current 'Laser' is built by Laser Performance.
Low profile type tiller is for the Australian built Lasers, the ILCA Ovington boat (UK March 2019 onwards) and the Devoti ILCA (EU) builders.

Orders are shipped with both DPD Couriers and An Post.
All orders received before 12pm will be shipped the same day where possible (Monday-Friday). Orders after this time will be shipped the next day. Once the item is shipped the approximate delivery time is 1-2 days

Windesign Deluxe aluminium tiller for Laser®/ILCA®

A 32 mm aluminium tiller for the Laser® dinghy.
The tiller has at the outer end a precise molded anodized aluminium insert.
The inner end is sealed with a plastic cap.
This Deluxe version is 25 microns black anodized and has a stainless steel anti-chafe protecting plate for the traveller line.
An aluminium clamcleat for the rudderblade line is mounted on the side of the tube.
Laser ® is a registered trademark of Velum Limited an Performance Sailcraft Australia Ltd.
This product is compatible with Laser ® but is not an original Laser ® product.
