Not only is it waterproof and fully breathable, but as the builders of Ireland’s traditional curraghs have known for centuries, it becomes incredibly strong and supple when soaked in salt water. Made from the highest quality leather with Dubarry’s award-winning NonSlip-NonMarking™ outsole, expandable Lycra for a snug fit and Gore-Tex insulation, they will keep your feet dry, cosy and agile in any weather.
- An expandable section of Lycra® has been incorporated into the boot to facilitate both the average and the above average calf measurements

As any sailor will tell you, exposure to UV rays is often extreme when you're out on the water and a wide-brimmed sun hat is an important part of your personal boating kit. It also reduces glare, helping you keep an effective lookout. Not just any hat, though you need one that's designed to stay on your head in gusty winds, with plenty of all-round shade and without a floppy brim that flaps annoyingly in a fresh breeze. An easily adjustable retention cord is also essential, and it's wise to choose one that's made from a water-repellent, quick-drying fabric with built-in UPF-50 sun protection. A new design that's strongly informed by our own long experience of sailing, the Genoa sun hat ticks all of these boxes and more.

Dubarry Crosshaven Sailing Boots

A high performance, thermally insulated, ExtraFit™ gaiter sailing boot. Upper consists of a uniquely designed leather vamp and counter with minimal seams to reduce wear in critical areas
- Exterior branding on the olive coloured gaiter is a canvas label with embroidery to tie into Dubarry's heritage collection. Leather section of the boot is in Navy.
- Reinforced toe and heel parts using the D-Chassis system; a moulded RPU frame that minimizes heel pronation by adding extra support, protection and control
- Gaiter section of the boot is made with a lightweight high abrasion water repellant fabric with an adjustable draw-cord collar that secures foul weather gear and prevents wash back
- Gaiter section also houses a drainage mesh at the bottom of the leg for optimal water release
- Signature Dubarry double bands are applied to the gaiter using a high reflective fabric for maximum visibility
- Inner leg of the boot is constructed with Cordura® and Dubarry DryFast-DrySoft™? leathers
- The lining is a GORE-TEX 350g Duratherm high insulated membrane together with thermally lined insole, providing the boot with full insulation

We reserve the right to change these conditions for exceptionally large or heavy items or items of a hazardous nature. We will keep you posted of any changes to the best of our ability.
Inclusion of any product on our website is not a guarantee of it being in stock at the time of ordering. We stock one of the most comprehensive ranges of sailing equipment in the country. However situations beyond our control may occasionally result in an item(s) being temporarily unavailable.
- Items discontinued by manufacturers or that are no longer available: we aim to remove from our website as quickly as possible, but remember, we are only human after all.
- If we are unable to supply any item(s) within 7 days, you will be contacted by telephone or email to offer alternatives or cancel your order. Available to order items, marked to follow will be sent automatically when they become available. We do NOT make additional charges for this service.
- In any case, we aim to deliver goods within a maximum time frame of no more than 10 days from receipt of order. If we are unable to do this, you will be contacted to make arrangements for any necessary refund to be issued.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with any online order placed with us. Therefore if you wish to return an item for whatever reason you may contact us by email at sales@vikingmarine.ie to organise a return.
All returns must be organised within 30 days of receiving your order. Refunds are available within the first 14 days after receiving your order. After this period we can offer an exchange or store credit.
Goods can be returned for a full refund plus any shipping paid at the time of purchase if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched.
Items must be unused and still have their original packaging and labelling attached.
Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
The PayPal account or card used originally for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase amount
If you are looking to exchange the goods for an alternative product or size, you will be liable for the extra shipping costs from our end.
Any footwear returned to us must be in its original condition, including boxes and footbeds.
Any items that we deem unhygienic will not be processed so please clean faulty goods if returning them.
Please note that if items are returned you should ask for proof of postage from your post office as we reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item is lost whilst being returned. Any item bought online can also be returned in store within the terms and conditions of sale, just remember to bring along your receipt.
Special Orders
If you have changed your mind on a non regular stock item that was ordered specially this can be returned for store credit only.
