Regular price €23.95Marine 16 Diesel Bug Treatment (DBT) is a Biocide formulated specifically for preventing or eradicating the microbial contamination known collectively as Diesel Bug.
DBT – Diesel Bug Treatment is a broad spectrum biocide formulated to prevent or eradicate the microbial contamination of fuel from Yeast, Mould and Bacteria commonly known as Diesel Bug.
A 100ml bottle is sufficient to prevent diesel bug growth in 2000 litres of fuel (50ppm). For serious contamination this should be increased to 100ml to 100 litres (1000ppm).
Our diesel bug treatment disperses into both the water and fuel phases in your tank and will remain sufficiently active for over a year at both high and low temperatures.
Marine 16’s Diesel Bug Treatment is the fuel treatment of choice for the RNLI, The Royal Marines, Sea Start and River Canal Rescue as well as being number 1 in the Practical Boat Owner magazine review.
Overdosing will not harm your engine.
Note: Diesel Bug exists because there is water, it is essential to drain the water out of the tank regularly, at least once per month.

Regular price €45.95Marine 16’s Diesel Fuel Complete is a multi-functional fuel treatment to maintain the quality of stored fuel, keep fuel systems clean and prevent the growth of Diesel Bug.
DFC – Diesel Fuel Complete is a multi functional fuel treatment for stored fuel. Using a blend of additives to give complete protection from the undesirable effects of modern Diesel. DFC Prevents degradation. Prevents the growth of diesel bug. Combats effects of using Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD) and BioDiesel. Increases Cetane number for easier starting. Contains a lubricant. Contains a Detergent for cleaner easier starting, reduces fuel system and injector deposits to zero. Reduces emissions and improves fuel consumption. Suitable for all diesel engine types and all diesel fuels.
DFC also contains a demulsifier helping to drop water to the bottom of the tank where it can be easily removed from the drain. Water in Diesel must be removed and can cause serious damage to an engine.
Dose DFC at the rate of 100ml per 100 litres of fuel, overdosing will not harm your engine.

Attention to detail
Waveline is suited to all users whether you are a casual user with a family, or someone who likes to put their boat through its paces with some water sports. Waveline have designed our boats to be able to carry bigger outboard engines by including Splashwell flaps to minimise spray and have ensured the boats are hand glued, and double taped seamed, meaning that it is stronger and easier to repair should the boat become punctured or damaged. For safety reasons Waveline ensure all boats are a 3 chamber tube construction.
Features
Waveline understand that the ideal rowing position for each person is completely different. As a result Waveline have developed and integrated an adjustable sliding seat that will allow the tallest or smallest person the most comfortable ride under oar. In addition, to offer greater stability, all slats and seats in the Waveline boats are now aluminium rather than the basic wooden style for comfort of use, and to further increase durability, stability and comfort. Waveline boats now benefit from using Bravo rowlocks and cleat style handles that are more robust, as well as lengthened rope for extra safety. Finally, an improved transom drain has been integrated to replace the traditional bung for ease of use.

Marine 16 Diesel Injector Cleaner

Regular price €16.95Marine 16’s Diesel Injector Cleaner is a “one shot” single treatment to remove harmful deposits in the fuel pump and injectors of diesel engines.
Marine 16’s Diesel Fuel Complete is a multi-functional fuel treatment to maintain the quality of stored fuel, keep fuel systems clean and prevent the growth of Diesel Bug.
DIC - Diesel Injector Cleaner is a once only treatment to remove harmful deposits in the fuel pump and injectors of diesel engines. Added directly to the tank at the rate of 100ml per 100 litres (1000ppm) of fuel. DIC cleans fuel line and injector deposits providing a cleaner, easier starting engine. DIC reduces emissions, improves fuel consumption and present smoke from exhausts.
If your engine is smoking we recommend you use DIC before calling an engineer to remove injectors etc. Smoking is often due to gumming and lacquering of fuel components which develop over time or from using degraded fuel and will be a lot more cost effective than removing injectors unnecessarily.
Having cleaned the system with DIC we recommend you use Diesel Fuel Complete to keep it clean.

Waveline is suited to all users whether you are a casual user with a family, or someone who likes to put their boat through its paces with some water sports. Waveline have designed our boats to be able to carry bigger outboard engines by including Splashwell flaps to minimise spray and have ensured the boats are hand glued, and double taped seamed, meaning that it is stronger and easier to repair should the boat become punctured or damaged. For safety reasons Waveline ensure all boats are a 3 chamber tube construction.
Although supplied without an engine we have engines available in stock to purchase separately.
