Regular price €63.50Loop High Load Shackles are more than 70% stronger than standard LOOP shackles at the same weight.
They are made from Gottifredi Maffioli Ultra Wire, which has a long-angle braided construction with an exclusive HTR treatment (pre-stretch and heat-setting), which is extremely light in combination with very high breaking strengths and minimal elongation.
They are an ideal lightweight, strong rope shackle that will not cause damage to your deck, hull or rig like a normal metal shackle would. Thanks to their flexibility they can be used everywhere, also in difficult to access locations.
They are also very easy to open by hand and they don’t sink immediately if dropped overboard!

LOOP® BLOCKS with Ballbearing, Loop, Velcro and Pin

LOOP Blocks are compact and lightweight multipurpose snatch blocks fastened with a LOOP shackle. The short LOOP minimises damage to the deck, hull or superstructure. The blocks are available with plain bearings or ball bearings. The ball bearing blocks have a two stage bearing: at lower loads the ball bearings minimise friction and at higher loads the plain bearing comes into effect.
Nice little block for many special applications. Due to the Dyneema® loop which is led thru the hollow axis, the block withstands very high load for its size. A perfect block for outside sheets, barberhoulers or 2:1 main halyards.

Loos Professional Rig Tension Gauge

Regular price €219.95The Loos professional tension gauges measure the tension in cables and rods from 3/32 to 3/8 inch in diameter (2.5 mm to 10 mm). These gauges are designed for setting the proper tension in the standing rigging of sailboats and also for other applications such as supporting cables for radio towers, large tents and other structures.
The gauges are relatively inexpensive and are designed to be suitable for rugged marine service. The "Professional Models" provide an increasing durability, accuracy and convenience of use.
The gauge may be hooked on the wire and will remain in position while the tension is adjusted. Manufactured of rugged anodized aluminum, this gauge is corrosive resistant and will give years of service. Detailed operating instructions are included with each tension gauge.
Professional Models - Higher accuracy and easier to use than standard models. The cable can be adjusted while the gauge remains on the cable. "Just watch the pointer move." All readings are based on 302/304 1x19 S.S breaking strengths.
The gauges measure tension over a range of approximately 5% to 25% of the breaking strength of the cable and provide an accuracy of + or - 5%.

Loos Rig Tension Gauge for Rod

Regular price €1,095.00 Sale price €895.00The bigger brother of the Loos & Co. Professional wire tension gauges the RT10M and RT11M are specifically designed for rod rigging and higher tensions. Easy to use, just slide the rod between the two upper rollers and then pull the spring loaded gauge onto the rod, you will be able to measure accurately rig tension for quick and repeatable tuning. Each model covers a range of approximately 5% to 25% of the breaking strength of the rod with 3% accuracy. Rig tension can be adjusted with the gauge in place.
All models are manufactured of anodized aluminium, are non-corrosive and will give years of service. Detailed operating instructions are included with each tension gauge.

The mobri S-2 is designed to be mounted in the rigging of sailboats. The best performance is achieved when the mobri radar reflector is mounted in a vertical position as high as possible above the deck, a minimum of 4 mtr./13 ft. is recommended. It should be mounted in the shrouds away from the "shadow" of the mast. Mounting eyes are molded in the structure at top and bottom. Durable lashing materials should be used to attach it to the standing rigging.

The mobri S-4 is designed to be mounted in the rigging of sailboats. The best performance is achieved when the mobri radar reflector is mounted in a vertical position as high as possible above the deck, a minimum of 4 mtr./13 ft. is recommended. It should be mounted in the shrouds away from the "shadow" of the mast. Mounting eyes are molded in the structure at top and bottom. Durable lashing materials should be used to attach it to the standing rigging.

The compensator is design protected and features a cleat shaped locking mechanism that prevents slipping. The self-locking internal elements in black polyamide stop chafed lines completely.
