Regular price €29.95Intensive development efforts have produced this range of cleats that provide unbeatable holding power, yet are designed for easy cleating and releasing of control lines in every application and load condition. Through the use of advanced composites, these cleats achieve superior performance while overcoming the limitations of metal alloys. Ronstan cam cleats are strong, light and corrosion free. The unique tooth profile and cam geometry are designed to grip without damaging the rope. A multi-coil spring recessed in the upper part of the cam generates near constant torque. This constant torque ensures secure cleating of even the smallest lines with minimal abrasion or rope wear and low line entry and exit efforts. The lightweight ultra rigid carbon fibre composite cams of the C-Cleat™ are corrosion free, suffer virtually no tooth wear and are non rope abrasive.

The dual laminate construction has been precisely engineered for minimum weight, without sacrificing the durability required to meet the rigours of modern sailing. A combination of full length longitudinal and 45° lateral glass and carbon fibres balances optimum stiffness with extra resilience to resist breakage.
Tapered Carbon Composite Tube
The tapered design maximises rigidity and strength at the helmsman’s end for positive feel and resistance to breakage over the gunwale when things get ugly.
Urethane Universal Joint
The universal joint in high grade, U.V. resistant urethane provides smooth, uniform articulation and flexibility in all directions for a quick and firm response to steering movements. The snap-on base cover allows quick fitting and removal of the tiller extension from the fixed base for ease of transport, storage or security. A curved surface adapter is available for mounting on round tiller sections.
The unique lightweight grip remains effective when wet. Its slim profile transitions smoothly from the carbon tube to a comfortable ergonomic shape to minimise fatigue. The ribbed finish on the tube provides additional positive grip along its full length, and an end stop is fitted for comfort and safety. Short tiller extensions have smaller grip diameters to match typically smaller hands.

Regular price €89.95Quite simply, Ronstan Ratchet Orbit blocks™ have the highest holding power available. The sophisticated NC-machined sheave features Generation 2 of our patented sheave cross-hole geometry. The Series 40 delivers up to 14:1 holding power, almost double that of our nearest competititor.
The unique sheave design has 8 gripping faces which directly resist loaded line movement. Traditional designs have an angled resistance to line movement. Our Generation 2 design has straight resistance faces which both distribute the load and minimise rope wear. These faces are offset from the radial line, to draw the rope down into the gripping area when under load.
The ratchet mechanism engages when load is applied, but switches off when it's released. This lets the sheet run out smoothly and freely-great for rapid easing of the sheet and for gybing asymmetric spinnakers.
Smooth easing of sheets
With auto models the sheet runs out smoothly and freely as soon as the ratchet mechanism disengages. When engaged, and with manual models, the sheave cross - hole geometry eliminates the 'shuddering' ease-out that you can expect from traditional v-groove ratchet blocks.

RONSTAN SHEAVELESS BLOCKS
Some small line rigging applications do not require ball bearing blocks, so Ronstan has introduced its Shocks™ Sheaveless compact blocks. Designed to fit a wide array of small diameter rigging uses, the new Shocks™ are claimed to be perfect for moderate load uses where minimal purchase is required.
The compact Shocks™ are carefully engineered to work well even if the load alignment is not straight. Made from anodized aluminium they weigh only 2.5g (0.01 oz.), yet can carry up to 350kg of break-load force. The Shocks™ soft attachment compatibility make them suitable for use in numerous high performance dinghy and small sailboat rigging applications including tweakers, vangs, trapezes, cunninghams, barber haulers and kite bridles. They are also handy on larger boats for uses such as ladder and motor hoists, lazy jacks, sail covers, and tie-downs.
Shocks come in two sizes and accepts 1.4mm to 10mm (1/16" - 3/8") line diameters for running rigging and can be used with up to 10mm (3/8") webbing attachments. They are available in three colour choices to help keep complicated rigging configurations more organised.

- In any case, we aim to deliver goods within a maximum time frame of no more than 10 days from receipt of order. If we are unable to do this, you will be contacted to make arrangements for any necessary refund to be issued.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with any online order placed with us. Therefore if you wish to return an item for whatever reason you may contact us by email at sales@vikingmarine.ie to organise a return.
All returns must be organised within 30 days of receiving your order. Refunds are available within the first 14 days after receiving your order. After this period we can offer an exchange or store credit.
Goods can be returned for a full refund plus any shipping paid at the time of purchase if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched.
Items must be unused and still have their original packaging and labelling attached.
Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
The PayPal account or card used originally for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase amount
If you are looking to exchange the goods for an alternative product or size, you will be liable for the extra shipping costs from our end.
Any footwear returned to us must be in its original condition, including boxes and footbeds.
Any items that we deem unhygienic will not be processed so please clean faulty goods if returning them.
Please note that if items are returned you should ask for proof of postage from your post office as we reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item is lost whilst being returned. Any item bought online can also be returned in store within the terms and conditions of sale, just remember to bring along your receipt.
Special Orders
If you have changed your mind on a non regular stock item that was ordered specially this can be returned for store credit only.
